Samantha Bee Keeps Trump Honest About His HIV Record

“Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?” is the song I was thinking when I heard about President Trump out of  the blue deciding he would end the HIV epidemic in the U.S. by 2030. I don’t think I could describe this situation by any other lyric in a song besides this one by Alanis Morissette.

Samantha Bee thinks this announcement by Trump at the 2019 State of the Union address doesn’t line up with his administration’s numerous assaults on sound health policy for those living with HIV as well as their attacks on LGBTQ Americans.
