Healthline recently announced they will be joining thousands of participants in supporting the San Francisco AIDS Walk benefiting Project Inform on 7/20, and will be shooting videos live for their “You’ve Got This” project.
The San Francisco AIDS Walk has raised over $82 million for lead beneficiary Project Reform and other organizations since the walk started 27 years ago.
This year, Healthline, a leading health information website providing accurate and trusted health information, free tools, news and doctor-reviewed resources, headquartered in San Francisco, will appear and offer live taping of encouraging video messages to add to their “You’ve Got This” video project offering encouraging and supportive messages from those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS directed towards those newly diagnosed.
Very cool! If you remember, this is the same video project that Jack Mackenroth, Patrick Ingram, Ongina from RuPaul’s Drag Race, myself (watch it below) and others recorded video messages encouraging those newly diagnosed with HIV, last year.

Healthline.com also announced that they will be making a $10 donation for every video recorded live at the walk and every other video uploaded for the project by those not able to attend to the biggest beneficiary of the walk– Project Inform.

“At the core of Healthline, we believe in improving health, and giving back,” said Director of Human Resources, Park Allen. “We run an empowerment program called, ‘You’ve Got This,’ where we record people living with various conditions giving messages of hope and encouragement that there is life with that condition. We firmly believe in making the people of the world healthier through the power of information. We like making a difference in peoples’ lives.”
Beyond the $10 donation Healthline will make for every video submitted to the project, Allen said, “We will additionally have a team of employees enjoying their time together and supporting a cause they believe in.”
What does this video project and support from Healthline mean to Project Inform?
Dana Van Gorder, the Executive Director of Project Inform adds, “Perhaps the greatest challenge we have in ending HIV and AIDS is the unwarranted stigma still associated with this disease. Project Inform applauds the ‘You’ve Got This’ campaign for reminding the public that much work remains to be done to end this epidemic, and that those affected by HIV and AIDS are good people, entirely deserving of compassion and support.”
