I have to admit that I hate the HIV stigma from some dudes expressed when they use the word ‘clean‘ when describing someone’s HIV status. (For example: Are you clean? Cool. That dude is dirty.)

BUT– the one time that I love “clean” is when describing the personal hygiene that I believe everyone should maintain. It’s not just a gay thing. This is a ‘be an awesome dude, thing.’ I also admit, as I have before, that a couple years ago when bathroom toilet paper companies started making those wet bathroom wipes after you do the NUMBER TWO that it all changed and that new level of ‘clean’ is now the new bathroom (ala the new black). Confession: I’m pretty judgemental when I visit a place’s men’s room and then realize they offer those necessary wipes– and I ain’t mad about that judgement. Do they not want their asses to be clean? Eww! So, word to wise: Maintain wet bathroom wipes at all times.

In this quest to live a ‘clean’ life and be confident that my tush is ÜBER good– I wanted to review a new product that I found while perusing Groupon: DUDE WIPES. I ordered some DUDE WIPES® (two boxes actually) and when they arrived, I sent a simple tweet to the makers of DUDE PRODUCTS and said if they retweeted me, I would review. They did. So I am making good on my promise!

**THE NICE, THE SH*TTY and THE REVIEW:**

DUDE WIPES®

The Nice:

Single Package (Easy to go or stick in your pockets)
Good sizing for proper coverage
Multiple Functions (Wiping your butt, cleaning off any “personal time” remains, wiping face)
Price is good. (Disclosure: I bought 2 boxes via a Groupon deal)
Makes bathroom wipes have personality and good for dudes

The Sh*tty:

Single packages are great to go, so a container without the need to open single packs would be cool– but the on-the-go ease of use is not worth giving up
The packages aren’t as moist as some of the generic bathroom wipes from other brands, although it is sufficient
