Quest Diagnostics launches national AIDS Walks Sponsorship Tour

Quest Diagnostics launches national tour sponsoring AIDS Walks Across the Nation and #AIDSWalkHouston is the first fundraiser!

It’s local HIV service organization’s fundraiser time across the country!

To launch the season, we are spotlighting the #AIDSWalkHouston happening on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Sam Houston Park. The 27th Annual AIDS Walk Houston sponsored by Quest Diagnostics, and others, will feature live entertainment, food trucks, and showcase booths from the sponsors!

WHY IS HOUSTON IMPORTANT?

•  One out of four new HIV infections in Texas occurs in Harris county.
•  An estimated 20 percent of HIV-positive people in Houston have never been tested and don’t know they are infected. Do something about it!
•  29 per 100,000 people were infected with HIV in Harris County last year.
