#HIVscoop: Did SNL Go Too Far With A Charlie Sheen Joke?

Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update is funny, usually. That all depends on which side of the political aisle you are on. They frequently make jokes about politics, celebrities, and anything in the news.

Ebery once in a while (or frequently depending on your comedic taste, SNL pushes the line on what some may deem acceptable.

In a recent episode of SNL, the anchors of Weekend Update discuss the Supreme Court nominee and how he “might” not be a good judge to give a lifelong seat to. During the bit, a low shot at Charlie Sheen appears to reference his HIV diagnosis and the fact that because he is living with HIV, nobody would want to sleep with him, or anyone he’s slept with in the past.
